I am a son of light

When we look to God in his Word. We move away from what others say about us and move to what He says about us. We start moving towards Living Life by His design. Over the next 27 days we will examine certain verses and lift those up to bring forth what God has to say to you; all verses will be from the King James Version (KJV).

Why do we examine His word let’s lift the words from Jeremiah 1:5; “Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nation.” What this tells us is that God has a plan for you.

Our 10th of 27 days is 1 Thessalonians 5:5, “You are all children of the light and children of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness,” If we were to personalize these verses for application into our life, we could say it this way.

I am a son of light and not of darkness.

Does these word’s cause you to breathe a little easier? God is telling you that He loves you; He cares about you; and He forgives you. So, stop beating yourself up what you believe are your shortcomings; when you walk in His word, He will at once forgive you of your transgressions.

I do not know about you, but I used to beat myself up, thinking I was not good enough, did not deserve love, was not what God wanted me to be. So, I decided to dive into what His Word had to say about who I am and what his Design is for me. I am still a work in progress; as I move towards what His Design is for me. I long to continue Living my Life by His Design.

I am working on a self-study course that will guide you into finding the Life that He has Designed for you; and move you towards Living the Life that he Designed for you; The project is titled “Living Life by his Design”. The program will look at from the angle of Mind, Body, and Spirit if this is something you would be interested in learning more about sign up for our newsletter and when the material is ready we will send you more information so that you can also start “Living Life by His Design.” Let us know what your thoughts are on “I am a son.” in the comments below.
